Drone Strike on Russia's Rostov Leaves Three Dead

(MENAFN) A pre-dawn drone assault on southwestern Russia has left three people dead and nine wounded, according to Rostov region Governor Yury Slyusar, who disclosed the casualties through his Telegram channel Thursday.

Slyusar reported that an unmanned aerial vehicle slammed into a cargo vessel docked at a port facility in Rostov-on-Don, the regional capital, killing two individuals and wounding three more.

The city of Bataysk also came under attack, where two residential structures erupted in flames, claiming one life and leaving six people injured.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that air defense systems neutralized 77 drones across Russian airspace during overnight operations.
